Excellent. As I'm in Cherrygrove at the moment, my Dragonite should easily be able to reach you before nightfall. Would you like to meet him at the Pokémon Center entrance, or do you think you'll have no trouble recognizing him and catching his attention from the ground?

Nah, I think I can get his attention. A Dragonite? Does he know where the inn is, I'm staying there right now.

He'll have no trouble finding it; we stayed there not long after he hatched, after all, and he has a very good memory.

There's nothing wrong with small doses of well-deserved ego inflation. He merely... tends to break his monthly quota within a week, if allowed to.

I've no doubt that would please him greatly. Perhaps even enough to convince him to behave himself during his return trip. He can be difficult at times, but he does appreciate being appreciated.

I've no doubt he'll be suitably thankful. And I'm glad to be of help; the months before we can finally fly are usually the worst part of our stay here, after all.

Are you near Mt. Mortar? I think that's home to a number of Fire-types; you may have some luck with finding a Charmander there.

I think i'm about a daya way. is that really the only place? i don't feel like moutnain climbing.

It's not the only place, but it's one of the few.

Have you considered asking a breeder about it? Or are you determined to catch one of your own?

i haven't asked yet. no one around here is breeding them and i haven't asked anyone with the gear yet.

I can ask one of my sources, if you're interested in that. We're a tight-knit group of several breeders; it's very possible I know someone who could provide one.

that'd be awesome. i actually don't like catching then that much anyway. it feels wrong.

Then how do you feel about someone breeding their Pokemon specifically so that you can take possession of one of the children?

I think to some degree, it's important to accept that Pokemon are not normal animals. That is, taking them into your possession isn't simply capturing and holding them against their will. That sort of thing...means creating a bond of friendship with them as well. It's said that Pokemon thrive on being trained, and find the experience rewarding.

In other words...you shouldn't feel like a bad person for it.

Well i know they're monsters but even monsters have families and stuff.

The ones i've caught seem happy, i suppose. or not sad or angry or anything like that.

That's a noble way of looking at things.

Also, I've gotten in contact with one of my breeder associates. She's informed me that it would be possible to breed Charmander eggs in the near future; are you familiar with Fujisaki-san?

Fujisaki? Never heard of her.

It's possible she introduced herself by her given name, Chihiro.

Regardless, you're welcome to get in contact with her, if you'd like to inquire about an egg. Mention that Kyouko Kirigiri sent you and she'll know what it's regarding.
