[Hello Pokéworld, this is one of those new arrivals that isn't all that good with technology and doesn't have much of a clue what he's doing. He's figured out after much trial, error, and near-drops how to record a video. Or at least where the record button is and vaguely what it does.
The video comes on to show his face and what looks like tree branches behind him--he's holding the Gear at nearly arm's length--as well as some pink fluff that is the top of the Igglybuff in his lap's head.]
Hey, this is turned on, right? If anyone's getting this, tell me so I don't have to talk to the local wildlife all evening.
I also wanna know if there's a shortcut to the next town...Cherry-something?...three days is a pain to walk, and it's stupid cold out here.
[He's sitting inside the sleeping bag and also wearing a jacket that was in his backpack, but even combined they're not really good for the weather.]
...And I'm not sure exactly what I'm supposed to be doing with these...monsters. I read that I'm supposed to battle with them, but I took out the bird with a rock myself and the balloon doesn't do anything but sing and try to nest in my hair. So...they're pretty useless, and I hope I don't die out here because all I have is a balloon and a bird to protect me.
[There's a noise off-screen and he jerks slightly before looking around for the source.]
...The hell was that?

[action]
[Not that that actually answers what it is.
I can tell yours is a bird.
[action]
[Having just properly learnt that, she passes the information on dutifully.]
I haven't named her yet. Did you name yours?
[action] Ew, I just noticed the HTML failure up there
[Hello Natu, hope you don't mind Luke leaning over to peer at you.]
I've been calling it 'Tear'. I can't really come up with a better name, so that's probably what I'll stick with.
[action] haha, I forgive you
Tear? Like with crying?
Why?
[action]
Yeah, sorta...Tear's the name of a friend of mine. She likes to sing, and so does the Igglybuff, so I thought it fit.
[action]
Oh, okay. That makes sense.
My bird doesn't really remind me of someone. I guess I'll figure something else out.
[She looks up at the nearest tree, squinting.]
Is that where you were?
[action]
If you don't roll around a bunch.
[He looks up into the tree, frowning suddenly.]
You have to watch out for owls, too.
[action]
They have owls here?
Like normal owls or strange owls?
[action]
[Shrug]
I wish we'd been given tents with the rest of our stuff.
[action]
We could use one sleeping bag for walls and roof, and the other for a floor. If you're okay with sharing.
[action]
[He goes to pick up his sleeping bag to examine it, wondering exactly what she plans on doing to make it a proper shelter.]
...So how's this gonna go?
[action]
Did you never build a blanket fort?
[She goes over to one of the lower tree branches and puts her own backpack on the ground and gestures for him to come over.]
You unzip it so it's bigger, and you hang it over the branch, and we can put our bags on it so it stays down.
[action]
[He's never made one outside, just with blankets and chairs inside. Except he got in trouble for that. Sort of.]
Oh...I didn't think of that. Over this branch, right?
[Tossing his sleeping bag over the branch.]
[action]
[She gets her own sleeping bag out of the backpack and drags it beneath Luke's, rolling it out and sitting down on it to smooth it out. Her Natu stays on the ground outside and she emerges soon enough, zipping up her backpack and placing it on one corner of Luke's sleeping bag to weigh it down.]
[And then she throws him an expectant look.]
See? What do you think?
[action]
Kinda cramped, but not too bad.
[action]
[She settles near the foot end of the sleeping bag, crosslegged.]
You should come sit.
[action]
[Good thing he's kinda short. Not small all around, just kinda short. He ducks in to join Molly, settling on the other end of the sleeping bag. Tear joins him.]
It's probably safer, too. Being on the ground.
[action]
Yeah. Now you can't fall out of the tree.
