[He's referring to a Spinarak up in the tree, not visible to the camera. The two Pokémon wander over, Luke pointing to the tree and muttering something intelligible, probably telling them to knock it down so he can catch it.

Fortunately for the Spinarak, that doesn't happen, but two other things do: A Scatterbug joins the fight, and a Gastly decides to harass Luke directly. By popping up right in front of his face.]

GYAAH!! THE HELL DID YOU COME FROM!? GET AWAY FROM ME!

[Cue iffectual swiping at the ghost, who cackles and swoops around just outside of Luke's arm's reach.]

[He hears it anyway, since the camera is being manned by two of his team--the Igglybuff and Vulpix, the former standing on top of the latter--and the glow of the screen is a good giveaway.

And they hadn't moved too far from his backpack, which he rushes over to get a ball out of, the Gastly trailing closely behind.]

...Huh? Hey, give me that! [To the 'mons, of course; then to Neku:] What am I supposed to do--I said go away!

Yeah, and it's a ghost-type. They like messing with people. You might have to fight it off. You got any dark pokemon?

Dark? Uh...

[He has a Dark type hatching in a few days, but no Dark types currently.]

No. Fire and...normal, I think. Ifrit has some Dark movies, I think. Does that count?

[The whole screen goes purplish for a few seconds as the Gastly leisurely floats past the camera.]

Might be your best bet, though most things don't like fire too-

[In any other situation, Luke would've found that exclamation hilarious. Actually, he kinda did, but he was preoccupied with the ghost itself.]

I'll send him after it then--Ifrit, go get it. Just...use whatever will hit it, you know I'm not good at this stuff.

That's a Gastly! Normal attacks don't work against it, be careful!

[Luke's face appears upside-down on the screen.]

Oh, that's what it's called. Yeah, he's trying to get it right now.

[Tilting the 'Gear to show the Gastly battling Luke's Vulpix.]

[Momo stops for a moment to think about it.]

Vulpix is a fire Pokémon. You should attack it with some fire!

[Vulpix is way ahead of you, Momo, as he is now spitting small fireballs at the Gastly. Supervision from the sidelines is Luke's method of training, and he does a great job at it.]

I don't want to knock it out, because then I have to catch it. I just want to shoo it away.

Well, it will work for that then! But ghost types are cool, you should get one!
