Hey look, Tear finally evolved.

[His voice sounds oddly muffled and scratchy. There are two reasons for this: because a) his face is half-smushed into a pillow and b) he's sick.]

'Cept she keeps slapping me awake. Pr'bly because I'm out of medicine. Anyone in Goldenrod want to do me a favor and go buy me some cold medicine? I'll reimburse you whatever it costs.

Whichever inn is closest to the Pokémon Center.

[Are there multiple ones? He's not sure, but he at least knows he's staying near the Center.]

Hold up, I got an idea.

[He whistles, and seeming to almost teliport, Sota, his Lucario, leaps next to him. Neku takes a ball off his belt and releases Banksy, the baby Smeargle. Saying something to Sota, the pokemon kneels and waves his paws over the younger pokemon, glowing lightly blue.

Nodding, Neku hands Sota some pokedollars, and the pokemon leaps out the nearby window]

Sota can track your Smeargle, so expect him to show up in a few with your meds.

[Luke is just...going to watch that, 'Gear propped in front of him, his chin resting on one hand. The Smeargle is less interesting than the Lucario, since he already has a Smeargle of his own.]

He's a Lucario. They evolve from Riolu and are... fighting and steel I think? Definitely fighting. They use auras of other living things to do all kinds of things.

Washing out your throat with salt water should help with the soreness somewhat, if you're in need of a quick remedy to soothe it.

Otherwise, it sounds like the medicine is a good idea. Along with plenty of rest and fluids.

havent heard of salt water for sore throats but you seem lik you know what youre talking about so i'll try it later.

There's a reason why it works, but the explanation is a little unpleasant; the salt helps to get rid of what's making it sore, to put it one way.

Tear, was it? When humans get sick, we don't recover quite as quickly as you do. You should let your trainer rest, alright?
