[The Luke in this video is very happy-looking and also unusually freckly. At least across his nose and cheeks, since those parts of him are most visible from the camera's eye. He's holding two badges--Zephyr and Hive--in the hand not holding the Gear in front of him.]
Check it out, I got two badges! They were super easy, I didn't even have to bring along my entire team for either one!
[The badges go back in his pocket, and he looks slightly less happy.]
Also uh. I've got a bunch of eggs, too. Growlithe, Vulpix, Murkrow, Star...ly?, and Py--er, Litleo.
[At 'Litleo', an off-screen Pyroar makes a low but audible mrrr, and Luke turns away from the camera to shush her.]
Hey, if we're keeping them, I'm not taking care of them. Don't start.
...Anyway, if anyone wants any of them, lemme know. I've got prices and stuff written down.
(Egg post is here, and there are still eggs available!)

Let's hope this isn't going to be too awkward, considering...]Congratulations, Luke.
[ Eggs, huh? Naminé's curious. There's a couple of those she's pretty interested in, but... ]
You have Vulpix eggs?
no subject
[Read: He got lost and then went the wrong way.]
Yeah...Nat keeps having babies. [So blunt.] Want one? They're Fire type, so they're warm and pretty cool in battle.
no subject
[ Naminé definitely wants one, and she nods. Having a Vulpix would not only give her a bit more variety, but it would mean she'd be matching with Lightning again. ]
I'd like that very much. How much are you offering them for?
no subject
[Vulpix also becomes really cool-looking when it becomes Ninetales, so there's that too.]
P600, unless you want to trade something instead.
no subject
[ She nods, looking pretty expectant. ]
That's okay. I'll send the money soon.
no subject
[Grin.]
Okay. I'll send the egg out when I get a chance. I hope you like it.
no subject
[ She nods, smiling lightly. ]
Mm. I'm looking forward to it. Thank you.

[Naminé, don't encourage his bragging.]

[ Too late. Oops? ]

[He's read through the trainer and breeder guides at this point, so he actually has some kind of basis for that statement now.]
How much are you asking for the Growlithe?
[He also skimmed the Pokèdex entries before responding; a fiery guard dog sounds pretty good.]

[So far he's been lucky in that he's been able to do the former, even if he's been achieving it by offering eggs to natives.]
1800. Unless you want to trade something instead.

[His starter seems to be a bit on the rare side, but he's actually gotten a bit fond of the little gourd.]
Unless, of course, you're willing to take an IOU on a future batch of eggs.
If you don't mind that this is so late...
[Cecil, that might not be the best way to encourage Luke.]
...And quite the nice batch of eggs to sell. Do you have a particular fondness for Fire- and Flying-types?
[No it's not, but he's not actually mad.]
I like the Fire types. The birds are okay...Star still hates me for whatever reason...I had to switch him out when I went against Falkner because he refused to listen to me at all...
[And whoops, he's going off on a rant tangent.]
Uh...well, my point is that birds are okay, but I like the other types better.
[Except for Whitney's post-loss wailing, but that doesn't count.]
Have you found any types you don't like, then? Or even isolated species; everyone has their least favorites.
Uh...water types. I haven't found any that are interesting enough to catch or buy as eggs. Don't really like the ghosts, either.
Water-types are so common that I've no doubt one will catch your eye someday, if only for its travel potential. But Ghost-types are... tricky. They've everyone trouble more than once, especially during autumn.

[He will amass a bird army.]

Murkrow is pretty strong.
[Bird army!]
no subject
It's a dark type, right?
[The best kind of army.]

[Pause while he recalls what Espurrs are.]
Well, it's just as well. They're creepy.
no subject
[That was not a good experience at all.]
