[Here's a face that hasn't been seen over the Gears for quite a while. A little over a month, to be exact. Once again, he's covered in freckles, but this time has a a small bruise under one eye.]

I'm still alive, if anyone was worried about me. I kinda got stuck on Mount Mortar and I guess you can't get to Mahogany from there or something. I dunno. Point is, I got stuck on a stupid mountain for three stupid weeks and I am never camping again.

Also I--

[He starts to say something else, but he's suddenly interrupted by the sound of cats fighting behind him. He doesn't bother to close his recording properly, simply sighing before shutting off the Gear to go address the cats.]

I'm fine...just grateful for a real bed and actual food again.

[On the plus side, he discovered why you don't eat the berries. Or some of them, anyway. On the minus side, he developed a dislike for wild Zubat.]

I kept all my Pokémon, but I lost my Gear....got a new one, obviously. And a few other things that weren't really that important.

It's still a shame you lost anything, though. Have you at least met interesting Pokémon?

I found some, but I failed to catch them. The main reason I went there in the first place was to catch a Charmander, but I never found one. Got a Torchic though.

[Which is what the cat noises were about. He turns the camera to show said cats, a Skitty and a Meowth, each taking turns tentatively poking a Torchic, who seems relatively unfazed. Probably because it's several tens of levels higher than either one.]

...I'd usually say that a Charmander would have been safer to train in a team with so many cats, but your new bird looks like it'll be fine. Why were you seeking a Charmander in particular?

[The answer could easily be 'because they're awesome', but he's still curious.]

You can eventually make your way back to Mahogany from Mt. Mortar just fine, it's just not a short trip in any sense of the word.

Oh. probbly missed the trail that led to mahogony then. Ecurteak is a cool town though so i dont mind staying here for a while.

Ecruteak? You must have gone in a different direction, though I suppose it is easy to get turned around while inside.

[ The first thing you're greeted with is a wet nose snuffling at the screen before a muttered "Hotdog, quit it" and Mikoto taking the Gear from him. He was just going to let this pass without a comment because it's better to know the kid's okay but then this happened.

And then the cats. ]

[Ohi Hotdognose. The cats have calmed down and are engaging in their new favorite game--Poke the Torchic Until It Does Something--offscreen.]

I'm annoyed, but I'm fine, thanks. For the most part.

Uh? I caught a Torchic while I was out, and they haven't seen it yet. I don't think they've ever seen one before.

[ Honestly, Mikoto can't tell if Hotdog's excited because cats or if he's excited because he remembers the breeder he was bought from. Either way, he's on his trainer's lap, tail a-wagging. ]

Ah, hi Naminé!

Yeah, I'm good. The cats are--well, here they are...

[Turning the camera towards the cats, and the feed happens to catch the Skitty letting out a snakelike hiss and bristling at either the Torchic or the Meowth.]

...I don't know what they're doing, but I don't want to get involved again.

I think they're mad because I left them in the PC for so long. They should calm down eventually.
