[Here's a face that hasn't been seen over the Gears for quite a while. A little over a month, to be exact. Once again, he's covered in freckles, but this time has a a small bruise under one eye.]

I'm still alive, if anyone was worried about me. I kinda got stuck on Mount Mortar and I guess you can't get to Mahogany from there or something. I dunno. Point is, I got stuck on a stupid mountain for three stupid weeks and I am never camping again.

Also I--

[He starts to say something else, but he's suddenly interrupted by the sound of cats fighting behind him. He doesn't bother to close his recording properly, simply sighing before shutting off the Gear to go address the cats.]

Uh? I caught a Torchic while I was out, and they haven't seen it yet. I don't think they've ever seen one before.

[ Honestly, Mikoto can't tell if Hotdog's excited because cats or if he's excited because he remembers the breeder he was bought from. Either way, he's on his trainer's lap, tail a-wagging. ]

It's normal for cats to fight like that? I know they fight, but I never had any sort of pets as a kid and I've only seen a few cats otherwise.

Pretty common, where I come from. Cats picking fights all over the place.

[ Sometimes with dogs, sometimes with birds... But mostly with other cats. Hotdog however, is now content to plop down, tail wagging wildly at Luke's wave. ]
